Who is Dr. Sue Morter?
Hello, I’m Dr. Sue Morter, creator of The Energy Codes. I know what it takes to completely transform your life from one of struggle and pain, to living a life of freedom, joy, and success – because I have experienced it myself.
I now teach hundreds of thousands of people around the world to do the same.
This level of purpose, success and fulfillment wasn’t always a part of my life however. It wasn’t until I discovered and created a system of working with the energy of our system that I started to see results in my life as well as my clients, patients and students.
Results that I know are available to anyone because I have witnessed it time and time again.
As a Doctor and clinician, I’ve witnessed miraculous results in healing and transformations during the first part of my professional life administering BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.), a ground-breaking and life-changing healing modality created by my father, Dr. M.T. Morter, Jr., an internationally-known doctor of chiropractic and pioneer of
Then, one day during a profound meditation experience, everything changed. I had a spontaneous awakening, accessing an energy field – a level of consciousness – beyond that which most of us know.
With that one experience a profound truth that had been missing from my practice was realized.

This one realization allowed me to access a profoundly different reality - one of pure joy, free from struggle and pain. A reality that I know is available to everyone.
Fueled by the awareness of this great truth, I spent 10 years making my life into a living laboratory to codify a process by which anyone can access this realm of awareness and experience the benefits of living from the Truth of who we are.
I traveled to India and was trained in ancient Eastern practices of energy, yoga and meditation, and spent hours in deep meditation exploring ways to access this realm once again.
Mixing this ancient knowledge with advanced study and research in energy healing, I began to codify the process of awakening I’d experienced. That process became “The Energy Codes” work that I teach.
What took me 10 years to recreate, can now be accessed instantly using the practices and principles outlined in The Energy Codes®.
Because I know it’s a system that can work for anyone, in 2019 I distilled the process into my best-selling book, The Energy Codes: The 7-Step System to Awaken Your Spirit, Heal Your Body, and Live Your Best Life.

Now, I teach my Energy Codes coursework to thousands of individuals who have transformed their lives for the better. All the content you need to fill and lead an Energy Codes workshop (2-hour, Half-Day or Full Day) or Book Study Group. The program is an online training with live support calls and check-off sessions. The online training takes place July 13-October 1, 2025.
Upon meeting certification requirements, you are licensed to facilitate groups with The Energy Codes program.
Program includes downloadable Energy Codes Certified Facilitator manual; access to member area resources; upon meeting certification requirements, you receive additional resources with all the downloadable materials you need to get started fast - workshop outlines, book study questions, videos of Dr. Sue Morter introducing concepts, pdfs of posters, handouts and flyers.
Watch the 21 video lessons over the 12 week course timeframe. Enjoy three live Q&A calls with Dr Sue Morter scheduled throughout the 12 weeks to address any questions that arise, and attend three check-off sessions with the Teaching Assistants. Practice sharing and facilitating the Energy Codes concepts in small check-off groups. Streaming-only replays available until April 30, 2026.

We will provide you with everything you need to successfully conduct your own Energy Codes workshops, along with our personal guidance. Dr. Sue Morter has worked with a wide variety of people - from seasoned coaches and speakers, to complete beginners with absolutely no experience. And if they can do it, you can too! All you need to do is fire up your commitment and “show up” for this program. If you do the work, you’ll be ready to fill your first workshop right away.
Yes! Dr. Sue Morter is sharing her brand and book title The Energy Codes with Certified Facilitators. This means that you can use it in your marketing, title and bios. Once you've signed the Certified Facilitator Agreement, we'll provide a logo that you can add to your materials.
Once certified, you are able to conduct the workshops and book study groups as outlined in the course. If you wish to use the materials in another program, we require that you submit the program materials for review and written approval by the Institute. And of course, please always include credit to Dr. Sue Morter and Morter Institute. We'll help you with all of that!
