Day 3: Conscious Awareness and Anchoring

By repeatedly anchoring consciousness in the core of the body, we’re anchoring more of this high frequency consciousness that is the True Self so we can realize another version of ourselves that is free, capable and flexible and completely creative.

DAY 3 SACRED INTENTION:

I awaken to the truth that “I am awareness itself” and begin to live fully in the core of the body, allowing me the power to access all of the resources available to me.

DAY 3 INSPIRATIONAL EXERCISE:

Stay On Subject

We are here as conscious awareness itself, anchoring ourselves into the physical form. It is important that the mind stays on “self” while on the yoga mat, as well as off the mat while engaging with others and life. By doing so, we maintain a felt sense of wholeness that allows us to engage in the world, and with others, without want or an attempt to manage or control.

During your Day 3 BodyAwake Yoga class, as well while you’re engaging with your day-to-day activities, practice keeping your conscious awareness focused on the core of your being. Begin to cultivate a feeling of “coming home” to yourself and notice how that feels. Do you notice a shift in your energy, thoughts, or emotions?

Your Day 4 class, Enhancing Strength and Stretching, will be emailed to you tomorrow.

INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE OF THE DAY:

“By anchoring consciousness back in your core, you’re calling spirit, the Essential Self, back home. By doing the practices that yoga was originally designed to do, you're elevating your consciousness through shapes and geometries you're putting the body in (called “asanas”) because they allow energy to move through the body more freely.”
