There is Only One of Us Here
If we can look at our lives from the perspective that “There is only One of us here,” then we’re automatically starting to move to the front side of the model. “Okay, I’m not just making the best out of this ‘bad’ situation. What if I generated this to teach myself something? What if on some higher-level perspective I requested this so that I could reveal some part of myself to me that I wasn’t aware of before?”
I assure you that’s exactly what is happening, and our job is to learn to align with that so that we can start to reframe the things that happen.
When something irritates you, it is a part of you irritating another part of you, because the part that’s getting irritated is ready to birth into something a little more “front-side of the model,” a little more glorious, a little more okay with whatever, a little more compassion, a little more understanding, a little more knowing. It’s all You.
And when you look at someone who’s doing, and being, and glowing, and having, and celebrating… it’s also You. It’s the part of you that you’re really interested in. And if you’re putting yourself in the company of that, you’re really interested in building that.
