How does 2014 feel so far?
Many are calling this a “year of fruition” in which we’ll experience results from our conscious efforts to cultivate the experience we want. This is a year to have it.
Did you know that in their cocoons, just before they transform into butterflies, caterpillars turn into a kind of soup? Then, the “imaginal cells” (and they are really called that) take hold, and the transformation happens…
For many, this gunky soup-like experience might describe the crazy ups and downs of life in recent years. And the “soup” of life can seem messy. This year, let’s move you out of the soup, and into beautiful flight of freedom and power.

If you’re feeling like you’re not enough, it’s true. Because the only part of you that would ever think that you’re “not enough” is the illusionary personality version of you. This is very limited relative to who you really are. You are so much more than that, and if you are identified with that thin layer of personality (if you think you are that protective shell) you better believe it is not enough.
So next time you find yourself feeling or thinking that you don’t measure up, just say, “it’s true!”
So how do you measure up? How can you?
You have to shift gears and drop into your core from living in your head. Because the “you” that thinks “I’m not enough” is right. And the You that can agree with it is the rest of you. That is the one I want to bring to the party. That’s the one I am interested in you getting to know.
There is a “biggest” purpose for meditation. It isn’t just about stress relief and stilling the mind–although that is immensely beneficial. Meditation is also a way to listen, to feel, sense, and be present with the greater part of you that extends beyond the physical realm, the part of you that is more than meets the eye, and the part of you that is ultimately interested in you being all that you can be.
As we get in touch with that, with the rest of who we are, we become the Healer, the Leader, the Visionary. We become the one in our family dynamic that holds the space for Love to prevail. We become the one in our workplace that senses there is a solution even when it looks like the squeeze is on, or there is pressure about a project or timing on something. We become the one who allows grace to flow, because it flows through us, not just to us.
As we allow ourselves to sit in a meditative way, we train the mind to be the true authentic servant to the heart. We begin to participate in a feeling recipe, a sensing tone, a communication, a collaboration with our inner wisdom and personal power, our ability to love unconditionally, our ability to speak our truth in all situations.
You get to be the visionary that you are, to grasp and catalyze the infinite possibilities that zoom through your mind every day, as “how I would love my life to be, how I would love my life to go.” As we begin to integrate, we not only combine those aspects of our whole being, we couple them with the fact that we are made of God-source energy, we are made of the very essence that nature is made of. There is nothing that we are not. As we begin to allow all of that truth to come together, we begin to sense and feel ourselves differently in the world than we did before.
